Keys to Quilt Mastery - Chain Piecing - with Arlene Walsh - 1 Day Class
Discover a more efficient method of quilt making. This Keys to Quilt Mastery session will introduce you to chain piecing. Chain piecing allows you to quickly sew like pieces together. This method is fundamentally feeding units through the sewing machine without the usual stop to cut threads and placing the unit in its pile. Then start the sewing all over again.
Classes in this Keys To Quilt Mastery series include:
Master the Miter
Squaring Up
Confetti Binding
Figuring Yardage
Chain Piecing
Y-Seams
and more to come...

Instructor Bio: | Arlene brings over fifty years of experience in quilt making and design to her classes. She started back when a quilt maker used cereal boxes as template material, but she was hooked. Back in Minnesota she began expanding by hand quilting for others as well a quilt repair. Her personal quilting began to take over when she discovered needle turn applique. What fun! Now she could draw a picture and put it into fabric. In 1994 she started Arlene Walsh Designs, a quilt pattern company that specialized in Southwest designs. Arlene has lectured and taught in shops and at guilds across the southwest until retirement in 2018. She lives in Green Valley with her husband, Larry, of 56 years.
