One Block Wonder with Jane - 2 Day Class
Join us in creating a Kaleidoscope-looking quilt using a favorite fabric. This intro to One Block Wonder quilt class will get your creative juices flowing and soon you will see potential spinning quilts everywhere. These OBW quilts are so much fun and become addictive. | Instructor Bio: | I'm so happy to join the team of instructors at Quilt Central Studio. I?ve been sewing since I was a teenager and began quilting about 20 years ago. I started out slowly, making a wreath wall hanging and then took a block of a month class at a local quilt shop, made my first quilt top. I had a very busy career, working for a large tech company in Northern California, so was only able to quilt now and then. After taking an early retirement about eight years ago, I?ve been more creative than ever, and fully embraced my love of being a quilt maker. I started my own business, called Rose Bush Quilts and have been teaching classes in Northern California, designing my own quilts and became a Certified Instructor for the set of tools created by Deb Tucker of Studio 180 Design. I?ve come to Southern Arizona for several months a year for the last 15 years, visiting family. Since 2020 and the COVID crisis, I decided to relocate permanently and have been very happy with that decision. I look forward to meeting some of you in my classes where the main focus will be to share knowledge, learn and mostly importantly, have fun. |
