It is meant to help the quilter relax and create an imperfect piece of art through the cutting of colored/textured fabric pieces. These colored fabric pieces are then layed on top of a muslin foundation. Although you are using an already existing pattern design, the technique allows you to personalize the wall-hanging to suit your individual style by choosing your own fabrics and by your own free-motion sewing lines.
